How we research
We begin with the problem a product should solve. We compare specifications, manuals, warranties, ownership costs, retailer support and recurring patterns in credible customer feedback. When hands-on testing is part of a guide, we explain what we tested and how.
How we rank products
Editorial usefulness comes first. Retailer relationships, commission rates and brand requests do not determine inclusion or ranking. We consider normal UK pricing rather than temporary headline discounts.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links may earn Recommended Today a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. Commercial arrangements do not buy favourable coverage. A product can appear without an affiliate link, and we will recommend buying nothing when that is the sensible answer.
Corrections and updates
Prices, availability and products change. We date meaningful updates and correct factual errors promptly. If you spot something that needs attention, please tell us.
